In November 2006 rumors about a possible early election arose.

Did the people take it serious? Do they think that an early election will be called?

Between 12th and 30th November 2006 almost 200 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

Here the details:

210 votes were cast in this poll.
Unfortunately, there were 8 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 8 people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is more honest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 191.

Here the percentages that the various answers got:

Yes:                               88 votes   =   46,07 %
No:                                96 votes   =   50,26 %
I don't know.:                      7 votes   =    3,66 %

INTERPRETATIONS:

Half of the people or fifty per cent did not believe the rumors about possible early elections. But just four per cent less thought that an early election could be possibly called.

The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.

This shows that rumors are taken seriously by the people. Everything is possible, especially in politics.
