Is Lawrence Gonzi the right leader for PN?

Results of 30th November 2006

The party leaders are always in focus of the public. Lawrence Gonzi is Malta's Prime Minister. But today let us focus on him as leader of PN.

Is he doing a good job? Is he the right leader for PN?

Between 12th and 30th November 2006 almost 500 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

Here the details:

546 votes were cast in this poll.

Unfortunately, there were 31 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 31 people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is more honest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 490.

Here the percentages that the various answers got:

Yes:                              232 votes   =   47,35 %
No:                               216 votes   =   44,08 %
I don't know.:                     42 votes   =    3,79 %

INTERPRETATIONS:

The difference between the number of supporters and the number of opposers is small. Almost as many are against as in favour of higher taxes for better roads.
It shows two things: Many people would pay for more comfort. And many people expect other financing sources than higher taxes.

The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.

What is more acceptable, bad roads or higher taxes?
